Starting right from the transportation to storage through to production – you can rely on our additives with certainty. Our in-house developed brands EXPANDIT® and OPTONIT® are mixtures of natural materials such as aluminium and powdered limestone – therefore are not considered a hazardous material under ADR, IATA-DGR, as well as IMDG. Both product groups are characterised by safe handling, are easy to measure out and can be conveniently processed without premixing.

With an individual composition of the formulation our experts control both size and distribution of the arising micropores and give your dry mortar products properties tailored to your unique application.
Selected additives for manufacturing dry mortar
EXPANDIT®
EXPANDIT® causes controlled expansion in dry mortar products at the right time and with the desired expansion volume. This prevents the mortar shrinking during drying.
OPTONIT®
OPTONIT® has other synergetic properties in addition to those of EXPANDIT®. For instance, OPTONIT® 20 combines the functions of aluminium powders and air-entraining agents. OPTONIT® 60 also ensures greater stability and optimised processing.
