1907
A spirit of optimism in the world: While brothers Louis Jean and Auguste Lumière published the first colour photos, the Kaufhaus des Westens (KaDeWe) (Department Store of the West) opened its doors. At about the same time councillor of commerce Konrad Grimm in Eckersmühlen laid the foundation for the later GRIMM Metallpulver GmbH with the production of bronze powders.
As one of the first manufacturers we were able to make aluminium powders at the start of the 20th century.
1924
The bronze factory Eckersmühlen GmbH was founded. Dr. Karl Grimm took over the management of the company.
1954
Due to the economic success and the resulting growth, we decided to set up a second factory outside the village. The bronze factory Eckersmühlen GmbH established itself at Am Wasserturm 1 in Roth. Our company has been there since.
2000
Martin Grimm took over the management of the company from his father Konrad. In the following years we steadily expanded both factory 2 and our core competence – the production of aluminium powders and aluminium pastes.
2004 to today
In order to meet the growing requirements in global competition, the bronze factory Eckersmühlen GmbH became GRIMM Metallpulver GmbH. Martin Grimm invested in the modernisation and expansion of the company and drive the expansion on an international level – mainly in Europe, South East Asia, as well as the Gulf States.
